Guess what? I might be Myanmar, Laos and Thailand bound next week for a total of three weeks which I really don't mind if not for my Bahasa Indonesian classes. Denise!! you better practise B. Indonesian with me or intro other pretty Indon girls to me to practise the language.
The learning curve these past three months has certainly been steep and I can't say how much more I am learning here than in my six months with the previous firm back then. Thinking of it restrospectively, it was but a waste of time. Sometimes I wonder why they even bother to look for people who do any bit of financial modelling when the most complex stuff they do with the excel ain't anything much. Sometimes you even wonder why it is the financial adviser thats doing the circulars when that's the lawyers work. No wonder staff turnover was particulary high...
CFA in three months and I have barely lifted the cover of my first book. Damned and I don't think I will be doing so in the next few weeks if we secures the regional project...
