Just back from my swim and now in the comfort of my air-conditioned room... This sure is bliss.
This must be my most relaxed semester ever in my university life and I sure can't complain about not having any social life or time to myself. Haha. I guess I do kinda deserve it after all the overloading of modules and activities the previous 5 semesters.

Think the rest of today will be trying to catch up with some backlog readings and probably the Hong Kong drama, Jiu Dian Feng Yun or Revolving doors of vengence (below)

Yeah, as you can see a good plot and good looking cast really can get you hooked.

Oh yeah, Jueli. Thanks for putting up this new blog design and erm, yeah I think it must be your comp that you can't hear the background music. haha. Oh yeah, this backgound music don't really go with the blog theme but can't really find any files small enough to quickly load but still, this is one of the all time fave songs the gang from Impresario 05 loves to croon to.

Superhost 2006 and Supper mania
Just back from the finals of Superhost 2006 and damned, Leeteng should so have won but for the lack of his smaller fan base… I mean, we really tried with 200-400 calls each from the impresario bunch but support for Cui Fang was really too overwhelming I guess. It sure was disappointing to see him lead all the way only to falter at the end. But still, it is still great news that there are some people interested in signing Leeteng… keeping our fingers crossed for him….

Overall, quite an enjoyable experience and my first time to Mediacorp and yea good to catch up with the impresario bunch yet again and hmmm I made two new friends today? Peixun and Huifen. Yeah you see the two of them in the picture below (the two on the left) with the bunch of us.

We went for supper at Al Azaar over at Beauty World and yeah, another night of gluttony.

Battle of the egos
Was down at the community gym at Choa Chu Kang earlier before the Superhost event and yeah, was really lethargic and not able to really do much but in my first time in a long time that I see a row erupt at the gym.

It was between this guy in his 40s or even 50s, certainly old enough to be my dad and this hot blooded young guy with barrels for his chest. It was really something from out of the blue I tell you.

This old guy was there doing his sets peacefully if not quietly until the young alpha male stepped too close and the old man was asking him to not walk around while others are using the bench only to be greeted by some sarcastic comments… and from then it was a free show for us all.

Damned tired from the JB trip, the Hong Kong drama serials, FYPing and planning for Europe…

Today really ate way too much in JB. There wasn’t really anything else to buy or shop for.

Friday - Social Etiquette Course
Was down at the American Club yesterday morning for half a day of learning table manners and socially acceptable behaviors… Not much complaints just that it was way too early in the morning and that I was at a table with some people I rather not be sitting with. Yucks!

But on the bright side, I made a few new friends and one of them, Nicole was actually quite engaging to talk to.

Ongoing - Drama serials
I probably should be reading up more and cutting down on the dramas but yeah you know…. Now I am just about done with Episode 11 of The OC Season 3 and is half way through Jiu Dian Feng Yun, this Hong Kong drama revolving around the hoteling industry.

Ongoing – Europe
Damned. Been borrowing all the trabel books like Lonely planet and Fodor’s and all the reading makes me just want to drop my books and jump onto a plane and head to Europe now. Can’t wait to see Barcelona and Rome.

Tomorrow
Superhost Finals. Will be down with friends and mates from Impresario 2005 to root for you know who, Lee Teng! Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hopes he walks away with a big fat contract from Mediacorp.

Had been wanting to update this site for some time now but just hadn’t really done so… so here I am… The past few weeks has been pretty eventful and let’s see what I can recall.

This week is the one week break but then again it probably doesn’t feel too different from the other weeks I have this semester. Contrary to what most people believe, I rather be having more on my plate right now.

Wait!!! Chelsea had just scored, I mean Barcelona had just conceded an own goal. Speaking of Barcelona, I just can’t wait to visit the city when I do my Europe trip this coming May.

Impresario 2006
Attended Impresario 2006 with Cuiqing on Saturday and I really got to say it really feels different to be sitting as part of the audience to watch the show than watching it from the control room as part of the organizing committee last year. It was really quite a good show just that the audience at the back probably couldn’t really get a good view because the stage was rather flat and yea, I still think last year’s spoof was much better.

Watch the spoof we did last year this morning thanks to Derrick who passed me the disc yesterday when we went wakeboarding with Jueli and Regina.

Man! I can’t believe how toot I looked for the part and ya I have put on quite a bit of flab here and there. Damned.

Wakeboarding
Wakeboarding yesterday was fine, just that being out there with Jeremy as the instructor is definielty different from having Terry but yea I guess he just wanted us to get the basics right and in place. Derrick was great for a first timer and was already navigating left and right by the end of the session although Jueli wasn’t exactly far off.

Oh! Barcelona has equalized through what seemed like another own goal from John Terry. What are the strikers doing? = P

Chilling out/ Catching ups
Caught up with Senhao and Brenda when Senhao was back in town before he flew off again to China, and they just may be joining me for Europe just that Brenda will only be looking at 14 days or so.

Brokeback Mountain
Watched the show with Hanwei, Brenda, the Barclays twins and their friends last Friday… Got to say that for all my skepticism, it was quite a good show with strong emotional play by the lead characters Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger. Three cheers for Lee Ang too.

Hmm… guess what? Barcelona 2: Chelsea 1 with 5 minutes to go… K time to go back to the match…

Been a while since i last blogged... a bit of update for the past week...

Body Aches
Recently has been trying to get back in shape and been heading to the gym… and now I am so paying the price for it…. My body aches like hell. Damned

Chinese New Year
The past week has been a week of guilt and vice, just think of all the food and gambling over the few days of Chinese New Year celebration

Met up with the ex committee members of the wakeboarding club on Ren Re, supposedly everyone’s birthday under the Chinese traditions to lao yu shen at Tanglin mall before heading for drinks at the balcony. Sure was nice to catch up with friends from my year one days. It sure has been a while since I last saw Amanda and Serena

Hmmm, mom’s birthday was on the 2nd Februray and I got her the OSIM slimming belt, uZap though I am pretty skeptical about the effectiveness…. Well I don’t think getting Fiona Xie to endorse it says a lot about its effectiveness but well as long as she so enjoy it ba… (see below for picture of the contraption). Maybe I will just so use it too, haha maybe it will just help....

Also finally did some house keeping for my msn; deleting the odd people I have not been chatting with and those that are just occupying another space on the list
