It is now 3.40am in the morning and it is another 20 minutes before my laundry is done and then I can finally retire for the night… only six more days to the first paper… really must step on the accelerator and up my revision one notch.

Attempted an accounting past year paper and boy oh boy… Speaking of Accounting, I got back my Balanced Scorecard Group Project earlier in the day and all my fears about the tutor being bias towards our class turned out to be unfounded or perhaps it was after moderation that our scores were evaluated up.

I was quite pleased that our group was given an A+ for the project because I really thought that our effort merited it.

Also found out the grades for both the calculus and matrix quiz and was really quite glad and surprise at the same time I did relatively well for both. I had expected worse. Well… they will go to help ensure that I at least get a C overall.

Went for Fish Leong’s concert on Monday though I knew I had in my earlier post said that I wouldn’t go down, not with the exams around the corner anyway. But I was not expecting Karen to come down to NTU for the concert, and with an extra ticket. I got to admit though that the concert was a splendid one and Fish Leong was absolutely superb and I am glad I attended it.

Went home today after mom called and shopping after that to let off some steam and ended up buying a new Manchester United jersey, a new pencil case (which is exactly the same make as my old pencil case, just a different color, and a windbreaker (which I left in the reading room and had to ran back to retrieve it…)

Haha and what did you know… Manchester United actually won against Arsenal and ended their unbeaten streak.

Didn’t really do anything today except some calculus which I still sucked terribly at…

Went down for supper with Nike, Jasmine, Wencong and the rest ... and they really are a friendly bunch.

Hopefully tomorrow I will finally be able to see the light and be able to breeze through the symbols and equations…. Yeah right….

Another unproductive day gone… and now there is only eleven days to my first paper. Pretty soon I will be able to count the number of remaining days to the start of the first paper which is Accounting 2 with the fingers on my both hand.

I am still not as worried about accounting as I am for the other paper - BF212 or ‘Mathematics for Finance’ in full. All the symbols and signs just do not make any sense to me.

Mathematics has never been one of my fortes, and I am pretty sure it will never be. Asking me to do math is just as good as asking me to play any musical instrument or to sing. Horrible is the word that would aptly describe my talents for the above mentioned activities.

Went down to help out at NTC yesterday morning to help screen the new applicants for the entrepreneurship minor, though I do not think I really contributed much except to help clear the refreshments.

Watching the video of my batch of entrepreneurship minor students going through the OBS really brought back some fond memories… all of us coming together in groups to put together the rafts, cooking dinner with the mess tins and scaling the suspended logs…

Other than the interview, the rest of the day was pretty uneventful and quickly passed me by. Was really unproductive… though I did meet up with Vivian and Ting Kang for dinner (darn… still has not yet returned Vivian her accounting notes).

Well think nothing much happened otherwise and I better be getting more sleep. Will really kill my grades if I don’t get more sleep on a daily basis…

Feeling damn grouchy and snappy today… guess the exam stress must be getting to me or it could be the lack of sleep, or both.

Learnt yesterday that Denise was arriving back in Singapore early this morning from her grand parents, and her sms during accounting lecture today confirmed that she was indeed back.

Hmmm… what else is there to update? Let me see…

There was a friend of Adeline whom I saw in the Free Access Lab on Tuesday whom I thought look quite pretty. Well Junhao and I indeed to have differing taste. Haha, at least we can be sure that we will not be having conflicts over the same girl.

Fish Leong will be coming to campus next Monday for a performance but do not think I will be attending and that I will be giving my ticket to Yaoming instead.

Focus! Exams! Mug! K, Reading room… here I come…

The time is now 3.33….

Exam fever has now hit the small settlement otherwise known as NTU~ it is the time of the year when you see people hugging their books wherever they go, perhaps even with them to their beds.

It has already been ten weeks into the first semester and already you see walking zombies around in school; people deprived of badly needed sleep… and I am no different. So if you do see me around in campus in a comatose state, you know the reason.

Many events have occurred since my last entry… my room-mate and I still have not arrived at the same frequency and still not talking much, but thankfully come the inter semester break, I will be lugging my stuff with me… two doors down the walkway to room with Deming (phew…),

Along the way I have also gotten myself into more extra curriculum activities as some of you who know me probably would have guessed and probably some more to come. Somehow I just can’t get myself from sticking my nose into any activity that seems slightly interesting.

Also hall life don’t seem all that dull now with new found activities (and I am not referring to studying in the reading room) such as cheerleading as well as new found friends in Nike (yup, you didn’t read it wrong) and Ka Wei and their gang. Without those two, life in block 71 would certainly be a few shades paler.

What else have I been doing this semester? Perhaps, the more apt question would be what else I have not been doing this semester. Not studying as much as last semester, not falling in love, and the list goes on though I can’t really think of any now (Sleep deprivation really kills one’s brain cells, so you should know what not to do…).

Looking forward it will be 16 more days to the first paper… that is if I didn’t do my math wrongly and another 17 more days to wrap up the examinations, and the start of yet another packed holidays, with the entrepreneurship minor modules, impresario, canvassing, and the list goes on….

Ok… back to the present... the time is now 3.58 and I shall stop my crap for now that is…
