Home sweet home
Arrived back in the tiny red dot we call home on friday evening and after a much missed mom prepared meal, I was out again for good old Singapore prata with Derrick and chan Fan, followed by drinks and the opening match of the world cup over at Robertson quay.. and it wasn't till 6 in the morning that I finally hit the pillows.

The next day was pretty much the same, meeting up with Bryna and Ales for a meal (it was for Alex's birthday) and followed by football session with my dad n bro...

Thoughts about the european trip
London was anything but CHEAP... food, transport and accomodation are mad even by euorpean standards...

Barcelona was by far my favorite destination of all the cities I been to. People are warm, food is good and shopping good too for mid range labels like springfield and zara (springfield is so cheap here compared to SG prices)

Paris, Milan and Rome was good for sightseeing and just sitting down to enjoy the metropolitan beat while Nice was relaxed and laidback. Florence was beautiful but I hated the weather while shopping was good, especially in tuscany as Brenda had pointed out

A new chapter
Work has officially commenced today and I am sure fighting to get used to it after 2 months of doing nothing...

I was late 10 mins (good thing the boss wasnt around) and was fighting to stay awake... so much for my first day huh...

In one of the roman internet centres now.. just did the tour of the Vatican museums and man.... the queue to get in was mad! 3 hours. can u believe it...

Haven't gotten the chance to send out my postcards from the vatican city yet because they closes at 2.30 and it was impossible to get into the Vatican post office at St Peter's square cos of some mass they are holding today... but so far I got to say i am loving Rome more den i do for Florence..

One good thing about Florence though was the outlet shopping in the region of Leccio, in Tuscany and darn, the shopping trip that was organised was only 2.5hrs - way too short to get over to the D&G and Prada outlets.... I might sound like a looney here blowing money on these labels but man.. when u look at the prices they are going for, you will probably do the same thing...

I got 2 wallets, one ferragmo and one gucci - one of which will likely be given to my dad as a prezzie and a belt for myself and they got to be at least 50-60% cheaper than those u find in Singapore. Who cares if they are from last season. singapore prob is one or two seasons behind. ; P

More to see in Rome. The Colosseo, the Pantheon....

brr... I rreally can't take the winds here no more.... thank goodness i wioll be heading for rome tomorrow... and the transport system here is just so inefficient you would think it cease to exist at times-hence the reson for me sitting here to blòg...

apparently the train just got delayed for an hour... and it's not something unusual here.. and outlet shopping which was supposed to be at 9.30 has been pushed back to 3pm totally catching us offguard. one word. damned.
