It's been a long time since the last entry. What's new? What's happening?
It's been so long that in the time since last my last blog entry you probably think that this blog exist no more, and in this time, I have been to Thailand and back, mugged for my CFA paper, started on my new job, and endured a slow and uneventful christmas and it''s just three more days to the new year.
ThailandThailand was nice. Weather's good, food's good and people friendly. No real complaints about the place just that I can't read a damn shit there besides for the few english signs here and there. Got a few shirts tailored, a corona beer girl who offered to be my tour guide if i do go back (no - I didn't take up her offer) and managed to spent about 1K in my four days there. God knows what I have been spending on.
CFAPreparing for the CFA was a real pain in the ASS and I mean it. That has probably got to do with me spending only about a week and the half when I should have three weeks for it (Well, Thailand took four days you see) and it just had to fall on my birthday and by the time I was done with it (8 hrs - the papers were 6 hrs, 3hrs each) I was totally spaced out. I ended just going for dinner with Adrain and getting a hair cut before heading home to sleep it off for my first day of work.
The WorkplaceDefinitely seems like a more professional and well run set up than my previous company having been there for close to a month and yea, the learning curve's still pretty steep and I am just trying to get the hang of stuff. Definitely loads to learn from my manager and colleagues.
ChristmasBoring. Was home on the eve and had to check through a colleague's work which was totally not required for that weekend cos no real work was done only like on the following Wednesday.
My thoughts about it? Dumb and uncalled for. If you are not going to work on it, don't get others to work on it so early on.Back to the presentJust got back from dinner and supper with Denise, Jasper and Ann. The Thai food was not bad but definitely nowhere near those we had in Thailand which was a fraction of what we paid. Also went for dinner with the three of them on Sunday or was it Monday? Hmmm... can't remeber but yeah, below are some of the pics that denise wanted to take for her facebook.
Just realised how to use the stitching function on my canon camera and yeah, till now, I ain't got a clue on as to how to use most of the camera's function. Damned.

Okies. That's all for now. Damn tired and I sure wanna sleep..... Nights
