Ooouch ... my right shoulder seriously hurts from wakeboarding today.
We conducted our holiday wakeboarding course today, and sure was fun to be riding the waves yet again. It’s been a pretty long time since I last rode, the last time being a few weeks before the exams.
It’s been a year and a half since I first joined the committee, and I guess… yeah the feelings were not the same as those when I was in year one. I guess the fire and enthusiasm in most of us have probably watered with time, but I sure was glad to see the rest of them today.
The weather today was great for riding, the sun brilliant though the water could have been cleaner. I was in the same boat with Thaw, Denise, Ann Marie and her brother and we were lucky to be driven by Beng who was highly entertaining and helpful with tips and corrections about our mistakes. Finally managed my one wake jump today but I certainly could do with more practice.
We went to Wheelock for Sake Sushi after the course and boy did I have my feel… In fact I still feel rather bloated now. Think I shall go for a run later if I feel able enough to.
Happened to have the chance to talk to Amanda today and well… got to know a little bit more about her and her hubby. Things in life are really often unpredictable and I really do hope that she will be able to cope well and yeah be happy with her decision. She really does come across as a dependable and sensible person to me and I am sure things will work out for her.
Tomorrow will be a very packed day and I wonder how I can go for rugby training in my current state… Well we will see how tomorrow...

Finally finished my entrepreneurship minor today… looking back, it really has been quite an enjoyable time. It’s kinda sad that all this have to end so soon. Perhaps the alumni thingy that Kas is looking into will really kick off and everyone will remain in touch.
Fond memories started flowing back when we were looking at the video of the Outward Bound School (OBS) trip and Sentosa trip produced by Vincent (and it really was quite a nicely put together video) … it really has been a nice experience; this minor experience that has allowed me to meet many great friends and to work together in the various projects over the past year.
This past week has been quite a hectic week with the EN104 marketplace simulation game taking place… and haha our team comprising of Ron, Roolin, Kas and I emerged tops and man are we way ahead of the rest.
It was really quite an intense and dynamic game; we will be like waiting for the results each night after the wrap-up time to assess how our group has done relative to the rest in the industry.
Hopefully the bunch of us from the entrepreneurship minor would be able to translate what we have learnt in the classrooms and projects into our daily life.
Now I can finally look ahead to enjoy some rest this holidays… though most of it will be peppered here and there with hall Inter hall games, Impresario, the wakeboarding course and the minor chalet.
Hopefully I will be able to slot in some part time job too (and I am not talking about canvassing)… I sure could do with some spare cash. Haha
Think I will not stay in hall tonight after all… shall go home after I pack up the room a bit and finish this episode of The O.C.

Finished the last of my papers on Friday and since then I have been doing nothing but lazing around and catching up on my long overdue
zzzz… and I really think I won’t do all that well this semester.
It was pretty sick when I found out to my horror last week that the minor was starting next week and the essay for EN105 was due next Saturday… I had thought it would only be starting the week after, and clearly I thought wrongly. Damned…
Think all the hall games training should be commencing soon. Time to start earning my hall points for the next year... I really do hope I get a single room next year so I will not have to worry about who my roommate will be.
FYI, I think
Deming will be staying with
Jimmy’s friend next semester and my plans of changing roommates is all but down the drain unless
Jun Hao can get his friend,
Jackson into the frame.
Reached home not too long ago after catching up with
Senhao, KongSeng and Ivan…
It has been more than a year since I last caught
Senhao, and that was before he started his masters program, and yeah it is always nice to catch up with old friends to learn how they have been, and what they will be doing.
I feel quite glad for
Senhao to learn that he is doing fine and learning a lot, helping his father with the company to get listed before leaving for the financial world. I am pretty sure he will do just fine both helping his father as well as on his impending career in the financial sector.

Slacked the whole of yesterday and did pretty much nothing~
The BF218 paper yesterday was pretty do-able, but to be fair, if I had not had the answer key for the second question, I probably would not be as confident.
Will embark on my BF214 paper revision today, and hopefully it will be a productive day…
Still contemplating if I shall head down for the gym later…
I think I will just bring my towel along in case I do feel like it. Speaking of working out, you should have seen that girl in the gym last Tuesday! It can be quite an ego deflating experience when u sees a girl doing squats with 120 Kg of weights at the smith machine, and she isn’t even huge… You should have seen the looks of the guys there…

Progress for my BF218 paper is painfully slow….
Not yet finished even one chapter today and it’s now approaching 8… was at chapter 6 in the morning… still at chapter 6… darn… why do I keep falling asleep…?
My accounting and math papers will really take a miracle if I were to get anything near an A for them. Really can’t fathom how I screwed myself by not reading the questions clearly…
Why~~~ How could I have not seen the labor constraint? Why did I not see that the store in the coffee shop only sold drinks? How did I ever bring in the bird flu and the raising prices of eggs and poultry???
Yeah if the coffee shop was assess based on the performance of all the stores (the aggregate total I would be right… but the fact was, it is not. Duh~~)
Well really got to get my thinking straight and start demanding more of myself. K. I shall be realistic and just aim to try to cover till chapter 8 of IFM by 2 tonight.
Well then, off I go…. Wish me luck… will need loads of it.

Yup, that’s my new nick name as I start my preparation for tomorrow’s paper – my most feared paper BF212. The concepts are all starting to clear up now, but one wonders if it will be too late.
Just got into room - and I mean just… wasted so much time because I forgot my key again… and for once my room-mate was not there in the room… and so down to the hall office I went.
Accounting paper has gone by - and truthfully, I thought it was a rather do-able paper, much more manageable then last semester’s (I didn’t really manage to complete last semester’s paper with the simulated 2 and half hours yesterday), but again I think I dropped quite a number of points along the way, and now is at the mercy of the marker to determine my fate.
Well, not really bothered by it unlike last semester’s AB102. Perhaps the reality has not yet sunk in, or it could be I have simply seen past grades. After all it is so murky and opaque the way they determine if you get an A or a B, a B or a C.
K then…. Back to reality or tonight’s post will be titled … “Damn it… no time to complete revision…” Yeah by the way, the incumbent US president just got reelected a second term in office… yeah as if you care. Haha …
