just got back and damned... I am really shag.
Oh I was saying... On Friday, I met up with Fiona, my ex colleague from my post JC, pre army days working at Citibank and her friend Jacq for lunch. Good to see that she is doing well now in her work at DBS. Ain't it just nice to hear that your friends are doing well. Good that she brought along her pretty friend too.
That night was the going away drinks for Jamesy, my manager from KP and boy, was it another mad drinking session. Somehow I seem to have became the R&R guy for the team, if not for the department. Good thing though, I have all the numbers for the various clubs and now know which clubs requires a minimum expenditure for the reservation of seats.
I will post the pics when I find the cable for my phone. Ain't know where I put it now.
Hmm coming back to the going away drinks session. The turnout was just great but it probably have got to do with the man, Jamesy than for my planning and coordination but yea, by far it is probably one of the largest turnout for any of our drinking sessions. Shilong, Wei quan, Shiqi and their friends turned up at the event as well and hmm guess what? Shiqi's JC friend's my bahasa indo class mate who happened to be in the articule my mom passed me to read this morning (not that I read it... erm its in chinese). Small world huh...

The weekend's been good so far; that is if you discount today which seems pretty much like any other workday.
SaturdayGot a call from Jason last night when I was out with the Wakeboarders and learnt that he's now heading for Deutsche and man, am I glad for him. Finally he will be getting an ibank pay for doing ibank work. Hmmm now where does that leave me? Damned. Just got to be patient I guess.
It was pretty good catching up with the wakeboarders and it must have been at least half a year since I last caught up with Jolin. We should really do these meet ups more frequently.

Argh… I feel terrible… down with the flu and fever… but well… it means a day off tomorrow not that I am complaining about the work load this week. Perhaps, this is what they call the quiet before the storm.
Yesterday was another early day too as the result of the two Sumatra earthquakes that occurred just before and after lunch. I wouldn’t have mind staying back if not for the fact that everyone else had packed and was all ready to go 10 minutes after the email from the risk management department came in. In the email, we were advised to work at the client’s place, from home or to simply just take the afternoon off. Damned! These earthquakes should occur more frequently (not that I am hoping for casualties k)
Think I will just spend tomorrow home reading up on the telecoms sector and getting some rest. The doctor today actually asked if I was too stressed…. And by the way, he was so gay…
Time for bed… I am a sick man after all

Just back from Impresario 07 and it was definitely nice catching up up with all the familiar faces again.

Thank goodness there was no drinks involved in this time's outing... still got to head back to office after lunch tomorrow to prepare for my trip next week. Did I mention that I will be Thailand, Laos and Cambodia bound? If not, yeah... I will probably be in those three countries for a period of between two to three weeks which would have been great if not for my Bahasa Indonesian classes and dental appointments.
The event was not bad just that it could have been better to be fair... hmm ticket sales should have perhaps been pushed harder (it was barely three quarters filled and to think the guest artist was Angela Zhang, below), the coordination of the admittance and lastly the spoof video which wasn't a spoof of anything...
