Just a thoughtFunny thing rumors can be. i have been hearing I have secured this and that offer that I sometimes I only hope those rumors were true. Haha…
Not panicking yet though. Still waiting for the outcome from the interview yesterday and scheduled for yet another next week. Man, I would definitely rack up the points if there’s a point system for the number of interviews attended. Please just let me just secured one or two positions so that I can just take a back and slowly review my options. A career in corporate finance with a top tier bank still looks a distant possibility after my interview with UBS last Friday but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to start out in a boutique advisory firm with the wider exposure (which probably means that one will be overworked with meager remuneration when you compare them to the top banks – size does matter I guess).
Hmmm… guess what? My cousin came in third in Ms Singapore. A pity her answer in the last round was kinda weak or I would have thought that she might just have squeezed in to the top two positions. But well, to be fair I probably would have been just as much a nervous wreck up there having to answer in front of national TV.
TodayCan’t say I studied much. Was studying with Wenting and Biyu at Macs and we ended up playing monopoly which Biyu had gotten earlier on at lunch.
6 more days this time I will be a free man! That’s just like 144hrs more to endure…
