Finally! I will be finishing my national service in two days though I will officially resume civilian life only at the end of July but today sure is a day I want to put behind me.

Today sure isn’t one of my best days. First, Jenny Goh our school coordinator refused my request for early registration while students who went on foreign exchange were allowed and those who failed their modules last semester. It just don’t make sense to me how my situation was in any way different from theirs in that I still have a year two module to clear.

Then came the time to register for the modules… I went to CITS at 12.45 where seats had supposedly been kept for us by Jason’s friends only to found out that no longer were the seats available and as such had to make a dash for library one. Is it all that hard to just pick up the phone and make a call so that the trouble of walking to CITS could have been saved, and imagine if I had came any later I probably would not have gotten any modules!

Then the whole registration thing was a farce. Why do we have to be so sit by the terminals in anticipation of the start of the registration and put our fingers to work, with the people having the fastest fingers coming out triumph.

It just doesn’t make sense having people apply for leave or off to come down to school or stay home just for those 3 minutes or so. Yeah that’s probably how much time the whole thing took. If u log on at say 10 minutes past the start of registration, you probably can just forget about having a decent timetable for the coming semester.

HELLO!~ NTU!!! Wake Up! Can you change the system to something like that of SMU or NUS’s where people priorities the modules they want by the credits that they are allocated?

#@$#$%!
