Saw the news of the tsunami that hit the asia pacific regions of Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka on the telly last night and this morning. Sure hope Nunn isn’t affected by it and is safe and sound.
The holidays are finally coming to an end and school will be starting for me in a little under a week’s time be it either SMU or NTU.
Finally received SMU’s email confirmation last night but I guess I am still deliberating over whether or not I should proceed with the exchange because it has not been confirmed that I will definitely get the modules that I want.
I had initially wanted to clear the major finance modules like
Fixed Income Securities and
Derivatives and Securities but my dismal grades for last semester has forced me to rethink my decisions.
So instead of my initial plans, I hope I will be able to do the modules;
Business Communications and
Strategic Management over at SMU instead and focus on the remaining Finance core modules to pull up my grades. A strategy that I hope will not backfire…
Went to Sentosa yesterday with my Impresario committee members for a potluck gathering and had another makan session with committee members from YEC. Truly a day to just get fat from all the food…
The sun was great but I guess it was a bit too much, think I should had applied more sun block yesterday but it sure beats seating in an air-conditioned office everyday.
Oh yeah, did I mention that today is the last day of my work? Haha… didn’t expect to finish my task so soon but it sure frees up some time for me to take some break and perhaps do some shopping.
K, enough time wasted. Shall now get back to tying up my stuff and getting ready to knock off! Cheers!
